Jesus gives all-forgiving love

Then they came to Calvary,
the place called The Skull,
the place where
they nailed
Jesus to the cross –
right there –
placed between two criminals,

and Jesus said, “Father,
forgive them
for they don’t know what
they’re doing.”

  1. The heart of the gospel , so beautiful , so powerful, so poignant, in the midst of that was to His onlookers to be His death , Jesus's asked for forgiveness for the ones who were there to crucify Him.

  3. Forgiving someone isn't always easy, but Jesus ask for the forgiveness of others in his darkest hour. What love and compassion! This would be the perfect scripture to recall when we have trouble forgiving one another.
